Venetian plaster is Italian imported natural limestone plaster. Venetian plaster is applied to normal drywall walls and ceilings for half the price of installing real marble slabs. We combine artist of faux marble painting with old Italian traditional techniques.

Lime Wash Paint
Lime Wash Paint is an all-natural paint substitute made from limestone. “Lime Wash” originally is a liquid made from lime and natural pigments to go ontop of a venetian plaster wall to give it that cloudy effect.

Lime Wash Paint is a chalky, shadowy, textured matte finish that is cost effective compared to other decorative finishes like venetian plaster.
It comes in many off-white tones and earthy colours like browns, grays, and taupes. Lime paint is environmentally friendly so it’s perfect for Ottawa and Toronto interiors. Lime paint has a high pH level that adds a hypoallergenic attribute. Limewash is said to remove odors and improve interior air quality.
Lime wash paint is applied by brush (2-3 coats) and It drys up to lighter than wet. It goes on typical drywalled walls and cielings you would find in Ottawa.
The better the substrate the better the final finish.
Microcement
Microcement gives a stone/concrete effect and is much more durable than venetian plaster.
It is becoming more popular in Ottawa to use microcement for bathrooms and kitchens.
The benefit of using microcement is that it is durable more durable than venetian plaster but it is not natural.
